BIM Engineer (Revit)

On behalf of our international client, a well-established engineering organisation active in large-scale infrastructure projects, we are seeking a CAD / Revit / BIM Engineer to join their team in Dublin, Ireland.

This role is part of international, multi-disciplinary projects and offers exposure to complex infrastructure developments within the Irish market.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing the production of fully coordinated, multi-discipline 2D & 3D models, drawings and schedules.
  • Ensuring design development aligns with the Project BIM Execution Plan, including coordination meetings, model checks and structured data sharing.
  • Acting as a liaison between Mechanical & Electrical and Civil & Structural design teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Creating and maintaining the Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP) throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participating in design and drawing reviews and supporting feasibility studies when required.
  • Collaborating with project teams to define requirements and agree on delivery timelines.
  • Interpreting engineers’ instructions and producing accurate drawings with minimal supervision.
  • Supporting the CAD/BIM team through initiative, technical input and continuous improvement of tools and processes.

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering, or a strong trades background combined with a BIM qualification.
  • 3+ years of experience in a BIM coordination or similar role.
  • Mechanical or Electrical background with proven experience in a similar position.
  • Hands-on experience with: Revit (including family creation), Navisworks Manage, BIM 360.
  • Experience working to timelines in a project-based environment.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Keen interest in innovation and emerging technologies.
