Contracts Manager

On behalf of our international client, a leading engineering organisation delivering large-scale water and wastewater projects, we are seeking a Contracts Manager to join their team in Dublin, Ireland.

This role involves managing a portfolio of projects, coordinating design and delivery activities, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Ensuring thorough knowledge and understanding of the contract for all assigned projects.
  • Coordinating design activities and outputs across multiple projects in Water or Wastewater PCI and PDI.
  • Providing senior management with timely updates on project progress, design deliverables, procurement, cost forecasts, and variations.
  • Tracking scope commitments against baselines to manage delays and maximise opportunities.
  • Ensuring all necessary documentation is administered through approved systems (e.g., BIM 360, process workflows).
  • Monitoring and controlling projects, ensuring adherence to program timelines.\Managing procurement sheets and associated processes.
  • Identifying risks to design activities and notifying the client for early warnings, claims, variations, and cost agreements.
  • Identifying opportunities and driving improvements in the design process and wider team.
  • Motivating the project team and ensuring full understanding of deliverables and timelines.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of relevant post-qualification experience in the execution of M&E or Civil engineering projects.
  • Engineering degree (Mechanical, Civil, Process, Chemical) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong IT skills, including MS Project.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
