On behalf of our client, an international engineering and consultancy services company, we are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team in Kavala, Greece.
The role involves providing technical expertise and consultancy services across complex civil engineering projects, with significant involvement in project management, client communication, and ensuring the quality and compliance of technical deliverables.
What you will do
- Provide technical consultancy and develop solutions for complex civil engineering projects
- Prepare and review technical reports, studies, drawings, and other project deliverables
- Manage projects, monitoring timelines, technical scope, and budgets
- Communicate with clients and suppliers and participate in client meetings, bids, and proposals
- Provide technical solutions and support business development activities
- Conduct technical reviews to ensure quality, safety, and compliance
- Support and mentor junior engineers
- Stay up to date with technical standards, regulations, software, and industry best practices
- Contribute to the management of technical, commercial, and QHSEW matters and risks
What we are looking for
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical field
- 8+ years of experience in Civil Engineering
- Proven experience in the management and delivery of engineering projects
- Good knowledge of relevant technical regulations, standards, and best practices
- Experience in preparing and reviewing technical reports, studies, and project documentation
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines, scope, and budget requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams
- Experience in mentoring or supporting junior engineers will be considered an advantage
- Professional registration with the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) will be considered an advantage.
- Excellent command of English and Greek
